Missed-call text-back
The call you did not answer is a customer deciding what to do next.
They are not leaving a voicemail. They are looking at the next name on the list, and the only thing that stops them is hearing from you before they get there. $400 to set up, $250 a month, on the number you already give out.
Missed-call text-back
$400 setup
$250 a month after that
The setup covers the whole thing standing up: your line cleared to send automated messages in the US, the message written with you, the timing and the cooldown set, and the thread arriving somewhere you actually read.
The monthly covers the carrier costs, which are per message and per number and are not ours, plus keeping it running and changing the message when your business changes.
What happens, in the order it happens
The call comes in and nobody gets to it
You are on a ladder, on another call, driving, or it is nine at night. Nothing about this step changes. We are not asking you to answer more calls.
A text goes out on the number they dialled
Not from a shortcode, and not from some other number they have never seen. It comes from the line they just rang, so it reads as you rather than as a system. It says you saw the call, and it asks what they need.
They reply, and now it is a conversation
Most people will answer a text they would not answer a call, and they will do it from a job site or a waiting room. What they send back is the thing you actually wanted from the voicemail they were not going to leave.
It reaches you where you already look
The thread lands somewhere you read, with their number attached. When you are free, you are picking up a conversation that already started instead of returning a call to somebody who has moved on.
The part that quietly stops this working
US carriers require a business to be cleared before it can send automated text messages. Until it is, the messages are dropped on the way to the handset, and nothing tells the sender. The dashboard says delivered. The customer never saw it.
Setting this up without that clearance builds something that looks like it is working and is not.
So the clearance is part of what the $400 buys, and it is the first thing we do. If your situation makes it a bigger job, we say so before starting rather than after, and compliant business texting setup is the page that lays out what that involves and what it costs.
A feature that ships switched off is not a system.
This capability sits inside a lot of phone platforms as a toggle, and the toggle is the easy part. What decides whether it earns anything is the wording, the delay before it fires, the cooldown on a caller who rings three times, whether the number is cleared to send at all, and where the reply lands when it comes back.
We set all of that, on your line, and we own it afterwards.
And it does not stop at the text. The same conversation can carry into the rest of what we run for you: the phone agent that answers the calls you do want answered, the follow-up that goes out when a reply never comes, the record written into the system you already use. One thing knowing your business, on every surface a customer reaches you through.
If you want the texting side done properly at the same time
Most businesses that want this also want to be able to text customers generally: reminders, confirmations, a reply to somebody who messaged the number on your van. That is the same clearance work done to a wider scope, and it is quoted as one job.
$400 for the text-back plus $750 for the texting setup is $1,150 to start, then $250 a month.
If an agency owns your website, the setup side is $1,250 rather than $750, because the clearance needs specific pages published and getting those live through somebody else takes the time it takes. So $400 plus $1,250 is $1,650 to start, then the same $250 a month.
When not to buy this
If your calls are already answered. A business with somebody on the phone through every hour it trades does not have this leak, and the money should go wherever the leak actually is. The audit exists to find that out before anybody sells you anything.
If what you miss is not calls. Plenty of businesses lose more to a contact form nobody reads than to an unanswered phone. Tell us that and we will start there.
If your callers need answering rather than acknowledging. A text saying we saw you works when the caller wants a quote or an appointment. When they are ringing with a question that needs a real answer now, the phone agent is the right rung, and it costs more for a reason.
Questions
Does this replace my phone?
No. Your phone rings exactly as it does now and you answer exactly as often as you do now. This only does something when a call goes unanswered, which is why it can sit behind a line a person is already picking up.
Can it text from my existing business number?
That is the normal setup, and it is part of what the $400 covers. If your current line cannot carry text messages, we say so during setup and lay out the options rather than quietly moving you to a new number and letting you find out later.
Is this legal? I have heard businesses get their texts blocked.
It is, and the blocking is real. US carriers require a business to be cleared before it can send automated messages, and messages from a business that has not been cleared are dropped with nothing reporting it back. That clearance is a separate piece of work and it has its own page, so anyone who needs it can see what it involves before starting.
What does the text say?
We write it with you, in your words, and it is short. A message that reads like marketing gets ignored, and a message that promises a call in ten minutes creates a promise your day has to keep. It says you saw the call and asks what they need.
What happens if somebody rings twice in an hour?
They get one text, not two. There is a cooldown on each caller for exactly this reason: a person who calls three times because they are anxious to reach you should not receive three identical messages telling them you noticed.
How is this different from the AI phone agent?
This answers in writing after the call ends. The phone agent answers the call itself, has the conversation out loud, and can book the appointment while the person is still on the line. They solve the same leak at different depths, and the phone agent page carries its own prices so you can put them side by side.
How many rang yesterday?
Your call log knows, and most owners are surprised by the number. Tell us roughly what it is and what you sell, and we will tell you whether this is worth $400 to you before you spend it.
